Mixed — reflect carefully
Neat notes can help, but decorating them may take time away from recalling the ideas. Pause the formatting and test yourself briefly; the page should support learning, not replace practice.

STORY & REFLECTION
Diogenes Chooses What He Needs
Diogenes · a published tale
In a published tale, Diogenes lives simply and keeps little beyond what he needs. When Alexander offers him a favor, he asks the ruler merely to step out of his sunlight.
The tale does not ask everyone to live as Diogenes did. It invites a question: what serves the purpose, and what adds effort without helping it?
Neat notes help when they make review easier. Yet spending too long on colors and borders may block the essential work of recalling and using the ideas.
Today, close your notes and answer one question. If you cannot, work on the content before decorating the page again. Appearance should serve understanding.
Reflection

A question to reflect on
Did you spend as much time testing your understanding as styling your notes?
