STORY & REFLECTION
Three things fatigue did not erase
Guidance-based illustration · Three things fatigue did not erase
Illustrative scene: At bedtime, an employee recalls unanswered email and unfinished edits and calls the whole day a failure, despite resolving several customer problems.
They write three lines: a waiting customer received an answer, missing information was requested, and lunch happened on time. One task goes on tomorrow's list instead of into the night.
NIMH recommends setting priorities, making time for suitable relaxing activities, and noticing what has been accomplished. Self-care need not wait until every task is finished.
Noticing what worked does not erase problems; it completes the picture.
