STORY & REFLECTION
A lesson used that afternoon
Guidance-based illustration · A lesson used that afternoon
Illustrative scene: A worker studies spreadsheet formulas for several evenings. When the real team file opens, they return to the old method because they have never tried the new one there.
They apply one formula to this week's report and ask a colleague to check the result. It takes a little longer at first, but quickly reveals what they understand and what needs another question.
Atlassian's learning circle gives learning a topic and a way to apply it promptly. Trying a skill on real work reveals what needs more practice or questions.
Learning at work need not wait until you feel fully ready. A small trial with a check turns knowledge into skill.
